beneath the surface,
the maker

My name is Renata, and I am the founder and designer of Inner Imprints — a small pattern design studio rooted in handcraft and intuition.

For as long as I can remember, I have been searching for peace, rhythm and harmony — drawn to patterns, nature, language and fabrics.

I am a multipotentialite with a formal background in both English teaching and communication design, as well as a self-taught maker.

Over the years I have immersed myself in:

My creative practice also spans coloured pencils, markers, inks and paints, which I now combine with digital tools to design repeat patterns.

What unites all of these practices is handwork.

The feel of materials.

The calming act of making.

And, the way tactile processes allow me to turn sensory chaos into something ordered, useful and visually alive.

I work with care and precision, guided by love for detail and intricacy.

Whether I am sketching by hand or refining motifs in software, I value diligence and immersion in the process.

Curiosity drives me to understand how to make things from scratch so that each final form grows from learning and personal expression.

Inner Imprints is my outlet and my path — a place where my inner world finds form, and where I invite others to encounter patterns as meaning, memory and connection.

Let what stirs within gently guide you,
Renata
